About Us
InkLust was created in August of 2008 as a collaboration between four avatar designers who wanted a fun and laid back creative environment that would welcome the experienced designer as well as the novice beginning to learn the basics of design. Today, we host a diverse community of artists and others. InkLust features a variety of activities and events for our members, including but not limited to those highlighted on this page. Try your luck at our Live Avatar Auctions, usually held on the first Saturday evening of each month. Our well-attended auctions are a guess-a-number style auction where attendees win avatars based upon guessing the winning number.
InkLust hosts a number of board auctions in our forum, including the popular Artist Auctions, our Blind Auctions, and our Freebie Raffles. In addition, we feature a Market Auction board where artists can auction their own work.
Come on out and play with us by participating in one or more of our graphics contests, featuring blending, coloring, or artwork based on a given theme. Play along, earn some points, and maybe even learn something new!
We know that not everyone is a graphic designer, so we also offer several forum-based games which include a humorous photo caption contest, image scavenger hunts, and a few word games, fun for everyone!
